Visiting one of my friend’s Facebook profiles brought me in a state of total awe today. Some people amaze me by their visionary talent, creating what you see in your head, I did my best over the years but I NEVER seem to manage, that is one of the reasons why I respect and appreciate art so much.
And there is no such thing as good old oil on canvas, because I love the Dutch Masters specially Van Gogh, nonetheless is Mucha from the Czech Republic my favourite with the Austrian Klimmt coming in second and the Russian Kandinsky third.
Although I am pretty handy in digital artwork this master piece is most definitely something else. Just watch it, it only lasts 44 seconds. If there is anyone who most perfectly made the merging process visible it is Marjan Moghaddam. The swirling of energies, going in and out of each other becoming one but still individuals. To be honest I don’t even think she had that in my mind when she created this, but to me it IS. Art is always in the eye of the beholder they say.
